Epomaker Galaxy100 Keyboard

I've gotten on somewhat of a mechanical keyboard kick lately, trying out all kinds of different ones from different brands. I've tried several from Lofree (love them), IQUNIX (love them too), and Keychron (typing this on a K10 HE right now)And out of all this experimentation, the one keyboard I have chosen so far as my main go-to for my main Mac Studio computer is this one: The Epomaker Galaxy 100 - specifically with the Wisteria switches. I had also tried the Marble switches but they were WAY too light to the touch for my taste, so I scaled it back and got the black version with the Wisteria switches - MUCH better. And the sound is basically the same as the marble switches so you don't really give up anything.This keyboard is just about perfect. EXCEPT the only thing I would want to change are:1. I wish it came with native Mac keycaps for Command, Option, and Control. Instead I have to put up with Windows keycaps which kinda sucks.2. I'm ok with the pink legends but I kinda wish they were some other color other than pink.That's it. That's my ONLY complaints about this keyboard. It's a dream to type on, sounds great, has great lighting, I can type really fast, has all the right keys I need including a nice number pad. The heavy aluminum case feels great and really grounds the board to your desk.It's excellent, just excellent.

Amazing quality, is probably the best keyboard I've owned. I did it to replace my K100 that broke on a single key, this one can be swapped. The downsides are the VIA software (which struggles to recognize the keyboard) and because I'm struggling a little with the Bluetooth connection (I'm still not able to pair via Bluetooth to my laptop the keyboard).The Typing feedback is amazing. It's the first time I change my keyboard and I take so little time to get used to. The typing seems really responsive.I bought the 100% since that was the layout of my previous keyboard, yet the keyboard is really compact without compromising the layout so much. I can do work and gaming just fine on it.Regarding the functions, it took me a little to get used to but it has good light feedback to show each functions.Overall:The good:- Very responsive and silent feedback- Very lasting battery (lasted me about 2 days with a full charge)- Has 3 different ways of connecting it- The software allows to edit every single key to your liking.- Comes with extra switches for replacement and a tool to replace switchesThe bad:- VIA software, which is used to edit the keys struggles with detecting it and it forgets the keyboard every single time you open it. you need to remove and re-insert the keyboard specific JSON in order to get it working, but the changes you make are lasting.- FN & RALT KEYS CAME IN SWAPPED. Because of this I struggled A LOT to make the functions keys work, until I accidentally pressed RALT instead of FN, and it finally registered the functions. I was able to swap them back with the VIA software.- VERY heavy. Feels heavier than my previous keyboard, Corsair K100.- VERY DIFFICULT to pair with bluetooth. I am not sure if this is my laptop's issue or the keyboard's, but I was not able to connect it through bluetooth, however USB connection and 2.4 with dongle works flawlessly, with a very strong signal and no delay.OVERALL SCORE: 4/5. Would recommend!

I absolutely adore this keyboard! I’ve tried so many in search of that perfect marbly sound, and this one nails it. After watching a few video reviews, I took the leap—and it really does sound exactly like it does in the videos. The typing experience is smooth, comfortable, and super satisfying.I also love the variety of connection options—it’s super versatile. My only tiny wish is that there was a spot to store the little USB dongle it comes with. Other than that, it’s perfect. Honestly, I’m already eyeing the black version for my next setup!

Awesome keyboard. Sounds great. Feels great. I love having a volume knob. Button layout takes a little getting used to for insert and page up/down. Haven't had a chance to do any programming but out of the box it was mostly perfect. Color is fun without being too loud.Two issues I had.1. Space bar switch had a bent pin and didn't work. Two extras are included so I swapped it out in 30 seconds. Kind of a bummer but great that I could swap out on my own right away.2. Small scuff on the space bar. No issue with functionality but a blemish on a brand new part is a bummer.

If you were thinking of getting this keyboard, GET IT. it is so worth it! The quality is amazing, it is so heavy it could knock someone out lol. The sound and feel is amazing, like raindrops is the best way to describe it. For months i have been looking up different keyboards to find one where i love the sound. i love that this one is already made to sound the way i want! this is my first high quality keyboard. i decided to treat myself since i work in an office and i type all day. GET IT.
